2 days straight!!!

I am so happy that I was able to scrap again tonight!!! I like the LO I did last night so much that I decided to use the same colors and sketch to create this one:



This LO was inspired by my new purse. I love the color combination in the LO. I followed sketch #44 posted at 52 sketches...52 weeks.

I also made this LO. I love how the colors came together.



I am just happy that my MoJo seems to be back and sticking around. I hope to get some more LO's done this week.

Here is a LO I did based on sketch #44 at 52 sketches, 52 weeks. It is not my favorite, but I wanted to share it anyway!

Scrappy time!! (Finally)

I had a few hours today to create and decided to start by cleaning up my work space. Then I got 2 LO's done. For the first LO I used a Julie Bonner sketch from 52 sketches - 52 weeks.

52 Sketches... 52 Weeks sketch #39

I love 52 sketches... 52weeks ning group. I have gotten so many LO's done this year thanks to Julie Bonner and the design team! This time I decided to break out the old photos that I still need to scrap. I have some from 1999 that I found recently in a box in the closet. I was so happy to find them. I remember taking many of the photos and I wondered what happened to them. I have wanted to scrap all week, but things kept getting in the way. From sick kids, to hurt kids, to friends in need. They all come before my scrapping. But it was nice to sit down tonight and finish this LO that I started last night before my son called to tell me that he thought he broke his hand. So I had to leave it to spend 3 hours at the ER. They said it was not broken, but it looks sooo bad that we will go back to the regular dr tomorrow. Any prayers are appreciated.

So on to the LO...



I just love the way my boys look. I cannot believe this was so long ago. It seems like yesterday! Time seems to have just flown right by!! It is hard to believe that they are 18, 17 and 15 now!!!

I am so happy to be scrapping!!!

It has been a while since I sat down to scrap. Even when I did, I could not create. Well last night my niece came over and she wanted to scrap with me, so I helped her make a page for Nanna. I was so happy to be creating again. Then she came over today and made 2 more layouts. Once she left and all the dishes were done, I sat down at the scrap table to see if I could create. The first thing I did was go online to search for some sketches. I found a great sketch at 52 Sketches ning group. I love her group. THere are some amazing artists on there. These are the 2 LO's I got done tonight.

I love it, I hate it!!!

It always seems that when I am in a "no creativity" mood, I can go to 52 sketches and get inspiration to scrap!! Their sketch this week was perfect for a challenge posted at Artistic Papercrafts over on Cafemom.
We were challenged to do a LO about an object that we love and why. It could not be food or anything that was living. Well as soon as I read that all I could think about was the one thing that I hate... my hubby's xbox!! Yes, I know it is crazy!! But it always seems that the xbox gets more attention than the yard or anything around the house. So, I still had to come up with something I love. Well that was not that hard once I looked at what was in my hand... MY BLACKBERRY!!!! Yes I am CRAZY!! But how did I ever live with out it. So here are the LO's I did.

I hate being sick!!!

It never fails that I get sick after a vacation. Not sure why that happens.... but it does.
So I have had a headache, fever and sore throat all week. Finally feeling better today.
I wanted to post these LO's earlier but just did not have the energy.

got a few LO's done tonight too...

Well since my Hubby is working late, I was scrapping. I did feed the kids before I sat down to scrap. I love to chat on line with my friends while scrapping. My favorite person to chat with is Kathy. She lives hundreds of miles away, but I will get to meet her in just a few days. I am soooo excited.

I like to go to the ning group for 52 sketches and look through their sketches. The funny thing is that I have done several of their sketches many times with out even know it and they all turned out so different. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!
