Christmas Organizer

I decided to finish the Christmas Organizer that I started last year. I plan on giving it as a gift, just undecided who to give it to. I glued the pages on to Chipboard to make it more sturdy. I painted the edges so that you could not see the chipboard. I really like how it came out.













Christmas is my favorite time of year. People seem to be in happier moods during Christmas season and I love to give gifts. I love to see the smiles on the kids faces as they open their gifts.

Mini album for my mom!

I had a good time making this mini album for my mom. This is from our "Adventure" to the north. We went to Chicago to visit my friend Kathy and them headed over to Indiana and Michigan to visit my mom's family. We had a great time. It was just me, mom and my sister. That made it really nice. No kids to ask "are we there yet" or "I have to go to the bathroom" and we could stop along the way with no complaints. It was really nice.















I still need to type up the last page. But wanted to share it. The last photo is of the stuffed frog that sits on the dash and stares at you while you ride in the hummer. I thought it would be cool to include him!

I was so excited to see the mail man park and get out of the mail truck... I knew that he would have a package! And I was even more excited to open it and see the book and art that I won on Ink Stains with Roni!!! I cannot stop looking at them. I am soo excited to start creating. I am making a list of items to buy the next time I go to the craft store.

I love it, I hate it!!!

It always seems that when I am in a "no creativity" mood, I can go to 52 sketches and get inspiration to scrap!! Their sketch this week was perfect for a challenge posted at Artistic Papercrafts over on Cafemom.
We were challenged to do a LO about an object that we love and why. It could not be food or anything that was living. Well as soon as I read that all I could think about was the one thing that I hate... my hubby's xbox!! Yes, I know it is crazy!! But it always seems that the xbox gets more attention than the yard or anything around the house. So, I still had to come up with something I love. Well that was not that hard once I looked at what was in my hand... MY BLACKBERRY!!!! Yes I am CRAZY!! But how did I ever live with out it. So here are the LO's I did.

Life goes on...

Seems like time keeps going even though I want to slow down. The first week of school went by so fast. Now the second week is almost over!! It is already September!!! Where did the summer go? I think that as I get older the years fly by so much faster. It is not fair. My youngest started High School this year. That was hard. I remember when my oldest went to pre-school!! Where have all the years gone? Good thing I have been scrapping for so long. I can just go back and see where all the years went.

Well I have been wanting to scrap, but just too tired to sit and do it... but tonight was different. I did get a few LO's done and a card. Will post them next. I also have some other stuff I need to share. Just have not posted them. Let me go look and see what is not posted. Be back soon.
