LO's!!!!

Here are some LO's that I have made this year. This is not all I have done. I need to take pictures of the rest. I will try to do that tomorrow.

My new toy!!!!!

My hubby was so nice and bought me a new sewing machine. I wanted one that did more than just sew and also one that was heavy duty. My old Singer was just too worn out. So we went shopping in November and I fell in love with the Kenmore Machines at Sears. So we put one on Layaway and I got it out on Friday, 1/14/11. I have had fun learning to use it.

Here are a few things I made tonight:
3 crayon roll ups. These were so easy to make and they turned out so nice.

I am having so much fun sewing again!!!!

My Crafty goals for 2011

I am already behind with updating my blog. One of my goals was to keep my blog updated, so I need to work on that.

I also want to create a LO a day. So that is 365 LO's this year.

I want to learn to use my new sewing machine.

I want to use all this fabric and yarn I have!!!

That seems like a lot, but I think I can do it!!!

Word of the year 2011

I decided to pick a word again this year. Last year my word was Rejuvenate. I think that I was able to do many things this year by reusing and redoing things. I had a great time.

This year I wanted to focus on what we have again, but in a different way. The word I picked says a lot. It makes me think and helps me to be content. My word for 2011 is:

APPRECIATE - To be grateful or thankful for.

I want to appreciate what I have and help my family to do the same. With the economy doing so poorly we all need to focus on what we have and not keep looking for what we don't have! I hope to be able to do that this year.

A new place for inspiration!!

I wanted to share a new forum that I joined today. I have known the people in the forum for a while and they are some great crafters!!! They started a new forum and I am super excited about it. They have always inspired me to create amazing things and they have some great challenges. They have found a new home, so give then a little time to get things going.
