$2 Flea Market Find!!!

I found some amazing things at the Flea Market last weekend. My favorite thing was this bag of stamps that I found. They are all old stamps. I was amazed that they were only $2. There has to be a hundred of them. Now I need to figure out what to do with them.... Any suggestions??

Eyelet setters... love them, hate them?!?!?

I have several Eyelet setters that I have bought over the years. I even bought the Big Bite, by Crop-a-dile. But none are as good as this one by Making Memories!!!

Photobucket

I have had this one for years and I hope that it never breaks. It is an amazing little tool. If you don't believe me, see for yourself...

Here are the backs of some eyelets set with this little amazing tool...

Here is a close up of them next to other eyelets that were set with different tools...

You can see that the other tools do not set them like this little tool does. It is amazing. The only other eyelet setter that can compare, in my opinion, is the Silent Setter by Provo Crafts. All others fall short. Or maybe I just don't know how to use them... but you would think that you could figure it out or it isn't worth buying.

Thank you Making Memories for making an amazing little eyelet setter!! I love it!!!

I love when I can create!!

I did not have much time this weekend, but I seemed to squeeze in a few minutes here and there and was able to get a few LO's done!! I love the Easter LO I did and the other 2 are ok. I will probably add more to them.

Here is the Easter LO:

Here is a Taekwondo LO I did:

Here is another one I did. Picnic in July:

I was also able to finish the alterations on the wedding dress I have been working on. Now I am going to alter the mother's dress. It is not as difficult. It was nice when the Bride tried on the dress and it fit perfectly!! I was so happy and so was she.

So I am back!!! I am making time to create, because I am a happier person when I am creating!!

Happy Crafting!!

What I have created this summer...

I have created a few LO's this summer. Not as many as I was hoping, but I am happy with what I have created.

These LO's are from our trips to Universal Studios in Orlando. We went for the July 4th weekend. We had a great time. We love Harry Potter, so we had a blast.

We had a great time and we have several more trips planned. We already went back on August 28th to the 30th. We love Universal Studios!!!

I need a 12 step program!!!!

Ok, I know that I have a problem. I love paper!!!! I know that I cannot resist it when it is on sale. I have hundreds of sheets of paper and still buy more!!! How can I stop?!?! Well maybe I don't really want to stop. I just don't know how I could use all that I have, but I have to buy more when it is on sale! I think I have an addiction!!!!! At least it is an addiction to paper and not something worse. I just wish there was a way I could use all this paper.

I have even used my paper to wrap gifts. I have let my kids cut it up to use it for projects. I have let my mom use it to make beads. I don't think I am a paper hoarder, because I will freely give it away. But I know that I have a problem.

I think that there are others like me. Even if they wont admit it. I know that some people have to have more paper than me. (I hope so!!)

I guess this is step one of my 12 step program... NOT!! I don't think I could ever stop buying paper. It is an addiction!!!

My Mom's birthday present.Shhhhhh!

Well, I hope my mom does not visit my blog. I don't think she even knows about it. But if she does she will know what she is getting for her birthday in a few weeks.

I got this idea from a friend on Facebook, who posted a link to a photo box. It was very different than this one, but it got me thinking.

So this is what I came up with:
Photobucket

It is filled with items from our "Girls Weekend" to the beach in July. I even included some sand from the beach in a small pouch. Also some small shells. It was a great weekend. I think she will love it.

Really?!?!?!?!?

Has it really been 3 months since I updated my blog? Where has the time gone. I guess I have been so busy with life that I forgot to keep in touch.

Life has been busy... with me working a new job that takes all of my mental energy. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful to have a job. I just wish it was my old job. Where I could come and go as I please and get the work done on my schedule.

The boys are growing so fast. It seems like I have missed a few years!!! But my scrapbooks prove that I was there. It just went by tooo fast. My middle son will be 18 on October 5th. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!!!! It is hard to believe that all my boys are over 16. I remember wondering what it would be like when they were all teenagers. Now I wonder about what they will be doing in 5 years and if they will have good jobs and a family. WOW!!

Rob is doing great. He is interviewing for a managers position at work and he is in the last intervies group. His interview will be on next Thursday. He is very nervous, but I know he will do GREAT!!! He is smart and knowledgable.

Other than that, not a lot of crafting going on. I have been working on a wedding dress for a friend and I wish it was done already!!!! But it will be done soon. It is a very pretty dress.

I hope to get back to scrapping soon. I have had so little time for anything. We have taken a few vacations and I cannot wait to scrap all the photos!!!

Ok, I am off to bed. Sorry I have been MIA for so long. I will make sure to keep you posted more often.

Oh, I did make a great photo box for my mom. I will post a picture shortly!

Have a good week!
