Just another day!!

There are so many things to be grateful for this year. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I cannot help but think of all the things that have happened this year in our lives and in the world. Just to have another day with my family is enough for me. There are so many thing in the world that we cannot rely on. But I know that I can rely on God and my family. Even if we don't have the extra money to go out and see a movie or eat. We still have each other and I am grateful. I am also grateful that we still have jobs. With so many companies closing around here, it is getting scary. Every week we still have a job to go to, I am thankful. My prayer is that this recession will cause all of us to take a hard look at our lives and just be grateful for what we have!! We are blessed!!

On a roll

Well after the Challenge over at Letsscrapdivas.ning.com I was on a roll and went ahead and made another LO before bed.

This LO is with a photo from 2001. This is my niece and we were visiting my Great Grandfather in the hospital in Michigan!! She was so cute sitting on the floor in the waiting room.

She is ALL GIRL!!

Simon Says Challenge

Well I had a great time last night over at Letsscrapdivas.ning.com Kathy hosted a great challenge. It was so much fun.

She started out with a list of items that we needed to have to start.

Then she played Simon Says!

She would tell us what to do with the items. If she did not say Simon Says then we had to say "OH NO!"

It was a blast! ! The most fun I have had in a long time.

Michael is driving

Well my middle son has been driving for a few weeks now. I still have anxieties about it and I know that my heartburn is because of it. I don't know if it will get any easier!! I did a LO of the day that he took his girlfriend to Homecoming. It was the first time they drove by themselves. They looked so grown up!!

Grateful Book 2008

We usually have a book that we write in every Thanksgiving. We list what we are grateful for and what we have done in the past year to help others. This year I decided to make the book. I usually just buy a notebook, but there was a challenge in CafeMom to make a gratitude item and I chose this.

Mini LO challenge

Here is the Mini Lo that I did as a challenge in Let's Scrap Divas. I had a blast getting this done. I liked the fact that it was not your usual LO. I then added it to a 12 x 12 LO!! It worked really well!!

LO challenges

Well I had a great time doing some challenges over in Lets Scrap Divas!! Thanks Renee. That was a blast and I got 3 LO's done from my 2001 stack!!! Here are the finished LO's!!



I also got a LO done from Halloween this year!!



I just love Challenges. They help me get Lo's done!! The stack of photos from 2001 is getting smaller!!!!

Card for Dad

Well my dad had a birthday on Friday and I made him a card. He loves to get hand made cards. He says that it shows we took extra time to think about him and make him something special!



Funny thing was my SIL also made him a card and used the same poem!! Great minds think alike!!

Got two LO's done last night!!

So I was able to sit down and get two layouts done last night. These are photos from 2001. So much has changed since then. GG Poppa is gone now and all the Great Great Grandkids are years older, not to mention there are many more of them now. Seems like just yesterday we were there loving on GG Poppa. We Miss you!!!!

A new week!

Well it is Monday and that mean a new week. Can you believe how close to Christmas we are? My plan is to be done with Christmas gifts for extended family by Thanksgiving. Then I will focus on the boys and Rob.

There are many things going on this week too. Madison has his first soccer game. He is so excited to be goalie for FSUS and I am so excited for him too. He just loves soccer and so does Rob. That is one of many things they have in common.

Rob has a full week at work. I love him so much and am very proud of all he does for our family. He is a great provider and protector. (Even though he sometimes does not think so.) He is everything I need.

There are so many things to plan in the next few weeks. We usually travel at some point during the holiday season, but I think we might stay home this year. Just need to save the money. We will see for sure.

Well here is to another week in 2008. (Not many of them left!)

Here is a LO from the Pumpkin patch this year. The letters on the LO were from a word swap on Cafe mom. I used my Cricut to cut out the other letters.



The pumpkin stickers are from Jolee and the patterned paper was not labled. The cardstock is by DCVW. I just love their products. The photos were printed on my HP personal photo printer that I just love. The best investment ever!!

Well I finally was able to sit down last night and make a double 12 x 12 LO! Here it is. These are photos from 2001. I am trying to get them done by the end of the year. Still have a lot to do, so not sure I will be able to do it. But I am going to try!!

Monday Night RAW 800th episode!!

Rob and I were able to attend the 800th episode of Monday Night RAW. It was in Tampa at the St. Pete Times Forum. We were invited by Rob's old manager. We had seats in the company's sky box. It was soooo cool. Rob had a great time. He just loves Wrestling. I am not that much of a fan, but had a great time.
