What we made!!

I am sorry that it has taken me over a week to post the LO's the girls and I made. It was a busy week. We had many things happen with Christmas and we also had some not so happy things happen. But we survived and will get through it. So here are the photos of the LO's the girls did. I only took photos of 2 of them. The other ones I will reuse. They only colored on the cardstock, on one side!! Thank goodness. This stuff is expensive. lol!!

Busy weekend with kids!!

We have had a great time with all the cousins here!! We love Christmas time, it means that we will all be together!! Of course sometimes they are ready to go home!! lol!! But we did have a great weekend!!!! I had all the kids at my house on Saturday. DJ, my brother, was over to help. We had a great time playing games and making things. I kept finding one of my nieces in my scrap stuff!! lol!! She is a little artist and loves to play with my stuff. Too bad she can't put it back where she got it from!! lol!!

Tim holtz Tag #12

Last but not least!! This is probably my favorite tag!! He ended with a bang that is for sure.


Tim is very good at showing great instructions. I found it very easy to make all these amazing tags, as long has I had the supplies needed. I had a blast making all of them and will probably be making more of them this week to put on Christmas gifts. I have already made a few of #3 and have the stuff to make #10 again!

Tim, Thanks for showing us how you make these amazing tags. I never would have guessed that I could make a tag look so beautiful, but it was not that hard with your instructions!!!

I did not have the reindeer stamp so I used my Cricut to cut out this one. Then I put the crackle glaze on it. It did not crackle very well. But I do love it!!

Here is my version of Tag #10!



I used Hvac tape to create mine. I could not find the metal tape that Tim sells, so I made do. I worked pretty well!!

Well I was able to work on and finish tage 8. I am happy with it. I did not have any vellum but want to get some and try his technique. Hope you like my version!!

I am totally addicted to the tags!!! Tim Holtz is a genius!!!
Ok, I love how #3 turned out. I even did another one. It was an easy process and I had all the stuff. Here is my second #3:


Here is #4, don't laugh... It is terrible. I did not have the same supplies that he did, SO I tried to make do with out. It just did not work!!


And #5. It also is not my favorite. I do not like how mine turned out. I might redo it:


Now #6 and 7 turned out terrific!! I love them. I will probably make more to put on gifts.

Tim Holtz tags!!

Well I have never been able to create something as nice as Tim Holtz but I am learning. I did not even know that he did 12 tags for Christmas every year until Jill posted in in a Cafemom group. So I took the challenge and started creating the tags. I got 1,2 and 3 done. 4 is a little more difficult. I might be able to do it, but will have to change it a little. I am going to try to get 4,5 and 6 done tomorrow.

Christmas Traditions Mini Album

I have wanted to do this for several years and finally got around to doing it this year. I does seem that our traditions change a little each year as the kids get older. I do miss some of the traditions we had when they were younger, like reading "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve. The boys have grown so fast. It is amazing how fast it goes.

Well here is the start of my mini album. I will add some small photos and also a few more embellies, but I thought I would go ahead and share what I have so far.

Busy, Busy!!!

I have been busy creating the last few days and hope to post some pics tonight or tomorrow. I started a "Christmas Traditions" Album and I am happy with it so far.

I also got some great deals at WalMart last night. They had many clearance items marked down to $.25!!! I got lots of scrap stuff that would have cost over $400 for only 23!!!!!! Can you believe that. I will share a photo soon!

Hope you all had a Thanksgiving!!!! We did!!

Lets make an Advent Calendar!!

I had a great time making these calendars. One is for my house and one is for my Nieces.

The first one I made I followed a pattern that I saw at a family members house. They just used cloth pins on ribbon with the numbers on it. I added die cuts to mine to make it more festive. I love my Cricut!! I was able to make this in one night. But had to let the Stickles dry over night.


Then this calendar I did based on a challenge posted on Cafe mom. Here is the LINK!
I love how it turned out!!!! My nieces are going to love it!!

I put some little things in the containers but also put instructions for each day. Some examples are "Give mommy and daddy a hug" "Share with your sister" "Draw a pretty picture" and so on. They are going to love it!!

2 days straight!!!

I am so happy that I was able to scrap again tonight!!! I like the LO I did last night so much that I decided to use the same colors and sketch to create this one:



This LO was inspired by my new purse. I love the color combination in the LO. I followed sketch #44 posted at 52 sketches...52 weeks.

I am just happy that my MoJo seems to be back and sticking around. I hope to get some more LO's done this week.

I was so excited to sit and scrap today. It was not planned, my nieces came over to "play" and wanted to scrap, so I sacrificed the laundry and cleaning the house. lol!!
