Found a new group!!

I love the Ning network. I have found so many great scrapbooking groups. This weekend I searched again to see if there was any other groups I would want to join and I found Inspired blueprints! I had a great time using their sketches today. Here is what I did.

I think I found my MoJo!!!

I have been busy creating. It is nice when I can sit down and create several LO's in one night. I have been surfing all the ning groups I am a member of to find challenges. I also looked at my groups on Cafemom!! I found several great challenges.

This one I found on CafeMom in the Artistic Papercrafting group.
Twins
The challenge was to use paint on your LO. I used paint to make the "Footprints".

Here is a LO that I did based on a challenge on Cafemom in the Scrappin mom's group.

Scrapin mom's Love
It was a sketch challenge! I turned it sideways.

This LO was based on a challenge posted at Scrapbooking and crafting friends in the Ning forum. I had a great time making this LO. Made me want to go back to Chicago and hang out with Kathy. I will bring the hubby the next time I go.

Here is a LO that I did on my own. I had these bubble bath photos of my nieces and I wanted to make a LO with bubbles. This is what I came up with.

Here is another one based on a challenge posted at Scrapbooking and Crafting friends.
We were challenged to use Live green, hot pink and chocolate brown.

Here is a LO based on the sketch posted at Lets Scrap ning group.
I had fun with it!
What an adventure

Goodness... I did not realize that I got so many LO's done. I still have more to post!!

Ok, next we have a LO based on a sketch I found online. I cannot find the original post. If I do come across it I will be sure to share it with you.

I had fun with it. I used a photo of my oldest son when he was 1. He is 18 now. I found these older photos and had to scrap them.
Our Boy

Here is a LO based on challenge posted at Artistic Papercrafting on CafeMom. We were given titles from Dr. Suess books to use as the titles to our page. Here is mine!
Artistic Title challenge

Here is a LO that was based on a challenge that was posted in one of the groups, but I cannot find out which group it was. I am so slacking!! Sorry. If I figure out where it was, I will post a link. I FOUND IT!!! It was posted at Scrapbooking and crafting friends. We were challenged to use Chipboard on our LO.
Old cars LO

Ok, we are at the last LO!! I am tired of typing. I cannot believe I got this many done. And really I got 3 more done for the design teams I am on too!! So that is a lot of LO's! I am happy about that.
On this LO I was playing with my new paper. It is by Cordination and it is soooo cool. I sanded the paper with a mask under it to get the swirls. I love it. Not real happy with the LO, but it will do. There is hidden journalling behind the top photo.

I hate being sick!!!

It never fails that I get sick after a vacation. Not sure why that happens.... but it does.
So I have had a headache, fever and sore throat all week. Finally feeling better today.
I wanted to post these LO's earlier but just did not have the energy.

So here they are...

This one was based on a sketch at 52 sketches

Finding my MoJo!

Well I think that I am beginning to find my MoJo again. I feel the creative juices beginning to flow...

And just when I thought my MoJo was flowing...

Here is a LO from my Chicago trip. I am not totally happy with it. I will probably revisit it tomorrow. Just too tired to think!

My first LO since I reorganized!

Well I decided to work on a LO last night and see if I could get it done in one night. I was already making some Hat Pins thanks to a great tutorial that a friend posted on Cafe Mom. Here is the link... Adina

So this is it...

My Boys

The swirls are hand stitched. I found the templates in my stash of tools when I reorganized. I had a lot of fun making all the elements on the LO.

I am finally getting organized!!

Well, more than usual!! I was able to get a great revolving shelving unit from a local store that was going out of business. When I originally saw it they wanted $75 for it. Too much for me. Would rather buy scrapping supplies. Then I went back a few days later and it was on $25. I still was not convinced I needed it until I went home that night and looked at my dinning room table. We had not eating on the dinning room table in months because all my scrap stuff is all over it. So I went back the next day and bought it! Now I am sooooo happy I did. We have been able to eat at the dinning room table for the last 2 days!!

Here are some photos of my $25 find!!

I am sure I will rearrange it a few times before I get it right. I have already moved a few things.

My Vacation photos!!!!

Well I have been busy trying to get all my vacation photos in order and printed so I can start scrapping them. But I wanted to share a few with you before I put them on paper. I had a great vacation with my mom and sister. It was nice to get away but I missed my hubby after one day. It is hard to sleep with out him next to me.

Here are a few photos of our trip.

Our first stop was in Atlanta to drop off my youngest son and pick up my sister, then we headed north through Nashville and into Kentucky. Spent the night near Mammoth Cave. Got up and headed to Mammoth cave.
Here is a photo of me and mom!

Then we headed north through Indiana in to Illinois! We headed to Naperville, where one of my best friends lives.

The next day was all about shopping!! We hit Archivers, and some Local Scrap Stores. Also went to some bead stores. Then it was off to Chicago. I had the best time. They were having a festival and there were lots of people!! But it was so much fun.
Here are some photos:

We ate at a mexican restaurant on the pier. Then stayed to watch the fireworks. It was beautiful. Got back to the hotel around 1am.
The next day we headed to Michael's and Joann's! Then it was off to Aunt Lucy's house in Cassopolis, MI!! Just outside of Elkhart.

The country side.

We also went into Shipshewana, IN to the flea market and shops.

Then we went to several scrap stores while there and also some bead stores. Then it was time to head home. We were able to leave very early and then stopped at several shops on the way home to. It was nice just having the "Girls"! No one complained when we wanted to stop at a Hobby Lobby or Bead Store. Then it was back to Atlanta to get my son and drop off my sister. We spent the night there. Then got up and headed to meet some friends and then head home. I was so ready to be home at that point. (Even though my hubby worked til 10:30 that night!) :(

The vacation was great! I got to meet several online friends while we were on vacation. One of them was Kathy!! I also go to meet my friend Karen and her children, and my friend Kristen and her 2 youngest children.

It was a great vacation. The just wish my hubby could have been there to enjoy it too, I missed him very much!!
